A couple of years ago I was asked to design a website for project Thallo.
This is a project that is brought to life by SevenEleven theater company and is funded by Stavros Niarchos foundation. It is a non profit project for the entertainment of the elderly in foster homes and is free of charge.
For the site I wanted to design something that is hopeful and not gloomy or retro. The colors that I used are bright and cheerful, the typography is modern and the sites navigation is simple. I used photos that are large and eye-catching.
Yannis Tzigounakis is the developer behind this site, which is fully responsive. The final outcome was set as a Wordpress site so that the owners can update it. Everything was set up from scratch to create a custom theme for the clients needs.
