This logo was created to show the stylized image of a bee, which is the given, but also combine the greek word "γαία" with the English translation "gaia" so both greek and english speaking audiences can read it.
The inspiration came from the greek letter "γ" (gamma) combining it with the english "g" to create the abstract form of a bee, that produces the products.
